Ken Edgell is a Senior Policy Advisor to American Medical
Review Officers, L.L.C. (AMRO), National Compliance
Management Service, Inc. (NCMS) and Pipeline Testing
Consortium, Inc. (PTC), all located in Hutchinson, KS.
Prior to joining PTC, a third-party administrator
operating exclusively within the pipeline industry, he was
the (Acting) Director for the Secretary of Transportation’s
Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance, within the
U.S. Department of Transportation, in Washington, D.C. He
retired from DOT in 2004.
He has twenty-plus years of experience in managing the
collection, laboratory, quality control, and Medical Review
Officer elements of DOT-required drug testing programs. He
is a frequent speaker at industry conferences to train and
educate employers and service agents on testing procedures
and program requirements.
Mr. Edgell has a BS in Information Systems and a MS in
Business from Virginia Commonwealth University.
