Robbie L. Sarles
Ms. Robbie Sarles is the President of RLS
& Associates, Inc., a transit consulting firm specializing
in the provision of technical assistance to small urban,
medium-sized urban and rural transit systems. Ms. Sarles has
over 20 years of experience with FTA drug and alcohol
testing program compliance.
Ms. Sarles was the primary author of the
Implementation Guidelines for the revised Federal
Transit Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations
and the Prescription and Over-the-counter Medication
Toolkit. Ms. Sarles is also responsible for the development
of the FTA Drug and Alcohol Regulation Updates that
are published quarterly. She has reviewed and provided input
to various other FTA publications on the drug and alcohol
testing programs.
Ms. Sarles also developed policy compliance materials and
provided policy reviews for over 750 transit systems
throughout the country. She has provided extensive drug and
alcohol training and technical support to several state
departments of transportation.
